Hey all, i just wanted to share about something i bought and just recieved. My fiancé likes to bring me to her lady friends houses for hours on end because she wouldnt want to go without me. So i bought a Trinity 3 in 1 suitcase type thingy(pics below) from amazon so i can do my art work while they have their girl talk. Now there are a fews pros and cons about this.
The pros are that it can be rolled around, it can be disassembled into 3 pieces to pack into a car, it actually fits everything i need to have ALL of my supplies except for what im painting lol.
The cons are that the construction doesnt look too sturdy due to it being plastic, the wheels are only held on by some kind of cheap thread washer(ill change that), also when fully together if you try to angle it so you can roll it by only grabbing the telescopic handle it will most likely break(only attatched to bottom and is plastic). I have been forcing the angle from the handle on the top box and then when angled the box rests on the telescoping handle and has been ok for now. I may drill out all the rivets and put bolts and nuts if it starts breaking and maybe use some brackets to reinforce the weak areas. But i believe if your not throwing it around it should be perfectly fine.

Let me know what you guys think. This for me, is way better than lugging around three different cardboard boxes that were falling apart.

I actually bought a '2 in 1 beauty trolley' same theory as above, ~aus$100 it was a bargain, It fits everything except the compressor. although if you wanted to you could put a 'studio' compressor at the bottom after drilling holes for the power and air line.

I've got the full set of Createx illustration, full set of bloodline AND Etac Efx in there as well as all the larger bottles of reducers etc and all the other stuff we tend to collect. I live in a bush fire prone area so I wanted everything in one place that I could grab and run if needed.

Looks pretty cool lots of different sections lol ive got my compressor in the bottom section along with a small fan to keep it cool but i would still have to pull it out. You must have more stuff than me if you cant fit it in that lol

lol, I've got the big bottles of restorer/reducer/trans base in the bottom. I refill the small bottles as there easier to handle. it took me a long time to find one to suit, I had all the measurement of the heights of the bottles etc. so I could make sure they would fit. I'll take some pics when I get home if anyone is curious

I've got all the gear I could ever need, its now just a matter of getting time to practise and get better.... a LOT better lol

I think finding the time is all of our problem. But yeah id like to see.

Very cool. I looked into something like that but couldn't get beyond the tool boxes on wheels. Might look into that a bit more.

I started out looking at traditional metal tool 'chests' but none of the drawers were deep enough, and I certainly wasn't going to go down the road of mechanical workshop storage solutions. way to expensive.

Cool, I could just imagine my missus if I tried to take that to her friends house!! Unless I was spray tanning them.....

Paint some skulls and flames on it and they'd never think of 'beauty'

I definitely would. Before i got this i was lugging around a few cardboard boxes with everything unorganized and i would have to go back and forth to bring it to the car and back. Very annoying lol. So this really helps me. I did a lot of research on what i could put my stuff in and while its not the strongest itll do.
