having problems with oil coming through to my airbrush even though ive got an oil trap and an air trap and an inline filter. whats the best way to stop this happening.

Are you moving your compressor around a lot? You could be getting oil I the tank if you aren't being careful.

First thing have you looked into the sight window to make sure it is not over filled?
One my my silent air showed too much oil in the sight window and I was getting oil through the air line. I drained some out and cleared the lines and no more oil coming through.
I move mine a lot, It all depends on the job .

so when we ear the famous story of oil in the air it's just about operator side ? it's possible to use one without oil or at least not a significant amouty that would ruined water base acrylic ? i would change my badger oilless tomorrow for one with oil but there is too much thing that i can't understand.like why almost everybody don't use them ? by the spec of both i don't see a single advantage to get one without oil maybe i'm missing an important info ?

People don't use them because they are so damned expensive.

I have an oil-less California air type for 120 bucks, it isn't super silent but it's quiet and does what I need it to do.
