Result..my lovely misses has finally realised that my pissy little compressor is holding back my artistic talents:)! Now I was looking around the 300/350 mark as I am still in the house in the spare room so has to be small/portable and quiet I found this

So what do you think guys n gals, best price I have seen for one of these, has anybody got one?

looks like your sad days are over, cheers to your woman, think your worries are over, hope you dont explode before you get your new one,

Hey mate, i think this compressor would be a really good one. I have a smaller compressor with such a refrigerator motor, and its really very quiet.
The only louder sound you will hear is the valve that opens when the compressor shuts down and lets the air out of the hose that goes from compressor
to the tank, so when it starts again it does not have to start running against the pressure. Im sure you will be more then happy with this baby compared
to your small one :)

Looks cool, and very tame in it's little cage, but I hope it's not too heavy for your incapacitated thumb, lol

Say hello to Bambi!!! Out with old in and in with the new:) I'm as happy as the proverbial pig in excrement! Now I can get down to some serious ABing......yeah baby!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339692147.064509.jpg

Congrats Cordyk, this compressor is going to make alot of differents and you will enjoy Airbrushing alot more :)

Hello Bambi

I'm glad he's in that cage, the little one looks scared.

Oiless?
nice looking kit

No it's an oiled one but sooooooooooo quiet, I turned the beast on and it was quieter than the old one, it ran for a couple of mins to fill the 24ltr tank then silence......................:). About an hour later it kicked back in(making me jump) for another couple of mins then off I went for another hour....yes I had TWO hours of no stop ABing compared to the normal 30 mins I could only do before I had to give up! I could have carried on all night with my babes soundly sleeping in the next room....frickin awesome:).

Yes stranger you are spot on, it's amazing how much more confidence this new compressor has giving me, no worries of pulsing, spitting , water probs after a half hour, the Iwata just seem to be more responsive and worked like it should. And also because I knew that I could paint all day and night if I wanted with no probs instead of rushing to get everything in to my half hour slot I will make less mistakes and enjoy it ten fold...brilliant!

Madbrush, it does look a bit sad next to it indeed, i know it wasn't cheep and I am fortunate to be able to get it( lots of grovelling and selling stuff to convince the misses) but it was £312 English squids well worth spent.

Happy...me...can ya tell!!!!
Now I can Finnish my competition piece...oh yes indeed :)

its heavy metal...

why they named it bambi damn i like it but name is just stupid:livid:

They called it Bambi so you would find it cute and love it and cuddle it, if they called it "rabid wolf" you would just throw a brick at it. LOL MAD

Very cute, dont forget the pet insurance. Lol

Im running a compressor without a tank so I'm looking for one but can't stretch to that sweetie.

Ha ha forgot the pet insurance and there's plenty of farmers around here with shot guns!!
It was a bit pricey and it will take a bit more justifying with the misses lol...but it is worth every penny, I needed a very quiet model because I can only paint at night when little one is asleep in the next room.

I'm seriously lookig at getting the same model, just been on their website to look at the spec's.
The one I currently use is very similar to your first one but comes with a small tank, made by Revell 'Master Class' series which is Ok but when I'm using my suction feed airbrush I turn up the air pressure a bit.
I notice the motor does come on more frequently, also to get parts/service is quite expensive say the company is based in Germany.
Like you I'll have to sell a few things on eBay which will go towards it, by the way I'm based in UK where did you purchase yours?

Hi Carly,
Heres the link to the site I bought it from, they do free delivery and there prices are about £80 cheaper than anywhere else, mine has a 24 ltr tank but they do smaller ones, it is a fantastic machine and does what is says on the tin:) I don't know what the price of spares would be but hoping I won't need any! It's a well made machine(should be for that price). Good luck with getting the funds on eBay and happy AB'ing:)
