They got you with the 55% of MSRP. which is probably true, but these days, no one sells anything for retail prices. Hell, the Microns ate almost $800 MSRP if I remember correctly.

I think the one you got is similar to my Iwata Power Jet. Is a single or dual piston?

Jeff It's a single piston, runs up to 56 psi and is rated at 47 ds so its really quite,, I know the msrp price was twice what i could find online but with the 55% off I still saved more then what I found them online for.

With a single piston Compressor, you are more likely to have heat buildup. I think I read about someone else with the same model, they mounted a fan to it.

Without the case and the brand name it looks like the TC-20T compressor. I run a small fan on the side of mine and I have no problems with heating. I believe I got the fan a few years back from Harbor Freight.

Ok here's what I've found using the badger tc910, It's a very quite compresser, coming on about every 15 min.and runs about 3min to fill the air tank then shuts off,I don't have any pulsing while I paint and it gives all the air I need both doing pictures and painting muskie lures, also runs pretty cool but did get warm (but not hot)Now for what I don't like about it,The first thing is where the on/off switch is i have a hard time reaching it as It's mounted on the top of the compresser but under the metal cover, the same with the gauge/pressure regulator hard to see(might add a fitting so i can see it better and move the switch to the top of the box) all in all not a bad compresser and as quite as it is will go in my basement and not be heard in my house by my wife(aways a good thing:D) yes i would say it a good compresser and worth what I paid for it and will be a good work compresser:thumbsup::thumbsup:
