Hi all, my name is Mick and I am from Perth, Western Australia. I am not an artist by any means though I have always had an interest in Air Brushing amongst my other hobbies. I also have a Mercedes Benz 4wd truck and Harley Davidson motorcycle that are both referred to by the family as tractors, hence the username Trakda. I have followed Mitch on YouTube over the last couple of years and enjoy his typical Aussie Style. This has motivated me to get a bit more serious and have a good go. I have an Iwata HP C+ and to date have only produced strokes and practiced effects. I plan to have a go at some of Mitch's in depth tutorials so I can hopefully produce something that the wife recognises other than dagger stokes. I look forward to learning from others here and providing input where I can.

Hi Mick:

Welcome! You'll enjoy airbrushing. I'm no artist either, but you will be surprised what you can accomplish with a little perseverance. Spent some time in West Geraldton a few years back, Great people and beautiful country.

Hey Mick, hi from the uk. LOL we call Harleys tractors too! Everything you ever needed to know about airbrushing is just a keyboard away, don't be shy about asking for help, and post progress pics, even of your exercises and experiments, the advice can save you months of struggling on your own :)

Welcome home, I will have to say this is the first time I have ever heard someone call a Harley a tractor...LMAO
now you have me wondering if I hook a plow to my old Harley if it would pull it and turn the earth over for planting...LOL

Hey mickey welcome along buddy! From a chilly u.k

Most tractors here run on diesel fuel but now that you put it that way I can see why ya call them tractors...LOL

Thank you to all for the warm welcome, from all over the world. Hopefully some day I will have the skills to confidently airbrush the bike and have someone recognise what it is; LMAO. I have finally downloaded Mitch's Ultimate Tutorial and have made a start with some of his great tips. I will post once I have something worthy. Cheers again.

Welcome to the forum Mick! Before you know it, you'll be ready to paint that bike. Let's see some of your practice sheets. Don't be shy post em up! When you get bored, spray up a little painting!! :)
