I have a new regulator on order. When I have mine adjusted down it feels the same for anything under 20 psi. I am gonna get control of my air one way or another. Home brew compressors are great if you ever get the bugs worked out.

I think i read somewere that you can buy in line MAC valves might be worth looking at. I dont know anything about them so i cant give ya anymore info afraid

I actually just googled them and for an iwata one there about 30$, have a look see if they are any good for your need

I have a new regulator on the way from Coast Airbrush. If that doesn't give me more control I'll go for the MAC valve next. There is a bunch of stuff that I am trying to figure out all at once. New airbrush, Iwata HP-CS, new paint, Wicked, and techniques, templates, fades, etc. It is going ok but could be loads better. I'll post a pic as soon as I get this piece done.

The cheap Chinese Mac valve QR are the same as buying a Master or Fengda airbrush, hit or miss. Go for the Sparmax, with the black dial, or the Grex, with big dial, or the Iwata one. But the Iwata is not QR so you will need another piece to attache.
