How could I make this blue so glowing and vibrant like it is? Is it a certain type of brand of paint? Or an additive? Thanks!!

Im sure you could buy that colour, but i think with the red there it sets of the blue more, just my opinion [emoji4]

Put a bright base coat on too... Colours will be different depending on what is underneath.

In my opinion , this picture was taking under UV light and the orange paint is fluorescent paint , if is not enhaced with digital edition

Once I was commisioned to paint a white bycicle frame with fluorescent green splats , I paint it , and delivered in person at sunset , in the twilight zone , when the spots look like floating over the frame ;)

I would say that this a fluorescent paint, I've used it for helicopter canopies to make them more visible while in flight and at a distance, the stuff I used was from auto air, it can be difficult to use, it requires many very light passes and must be dry before the next pass, otherwise you get fish eye/pigment migration, but it's pretty cool stuff if you want our work to be seen form miles away, lol

They sell pearl colors and neon colors that is most likely what was used. I would base it in white then do the color.

Looks like a blue pearl underneath and a flourescent on top to get the glowy effect.. Could be wrong but thats my thinking.

Possibly it's a candy blue over a fairly heavy metallic silver base, and the camera flash is reflecting back off of the flake through the paint???? Had a similar look in a photo once, that I didn't want as you couldn't see the artwork. Or any of the above Lol.

Send a copy of your picture and a request for advice to Coast Airbrush. I am sure they will be able to supply you with a solution and you can order the paint straight from them.

good advice. But it is just paint in contrasting colors Play around with what you have.. there maybe some neon as stated above But i am thinking its the lighting making it pop

You could also try using w057 Detail Blue Violet over w002 Wicked black. That is a very vibrant blue combination. Wicked Pearl Blue W304 might also work.

Hmm.. noob here but it seems like the blue was that vibrant due to lights. Bottom far left of the the blue is not that vibrant. Just my 2cents a noob.. the base could be from white to as it seems that is an Xbox controller template.
