Replacing Airbrush parts with cheaper alternatives?

Hello, recently I just got started airbrushing and due to my lack of experience I have accidentally over tightened the nozzle on my Iwata HP-Th airbrush which has the .5mm needle and Mac control valve. While searching for the part that I needed, I found out that that simple piece cost about $26-$35 plus tax which is insane! I then found that eBay and amazon sell the same size nozzle for under $10 except it is a generic brand. So my question is has anyone have experience using cheaper alternative replacement parts for needles and nozzles and are there any pros and cons for doing so?

Here are the links to the parts

This is my airbrush (I got it form Japan for $172 btw)

Forget using cheaper parts, I've been sold fake parts by a shop locally and believe me, you'll notice the difference as well as suffer the frustrations that come with it, Iwata gear is precision engineered to give you the best performance, these generic parts you mention are intended for cheap chinese knockoffs and although they may seem to fit your branded model the performance just won be there or at least may be there for the first couple of uses then it hammer time, don't replace anything around the head with substandard stuff no matter what hype is on the websites that sell them.

you have bought a high end brand airbrush so why would you go for the cheapest low end parts . it is like Mad says it will only frustrate you

You don't get "generic" airbrush parts. It's copies and most likely bad ones too. Stick to the originals and keep your equipment in tip top condition.

Would you put Volkswagen suspension on your Porsche ? It may fit but it wouldn't mean you'd get the outcome that you would expect from a Porsche.
There is no "pro" to this question.

Yes they are expensive, but they are made of superior quality materials and with superior quality machining. The copies will undoubtedly be softer metal which will distort and flare easily so won't perform for very long at all, the threads snap off etc. By the time you have bought a few of these as they won't last, you will have paid the same anyway. Added to the fact that they won't perform to the same level of the genuine part anyway, there is absolutely no point.

Why would you want to ? When you buy a high end airbrush you want to keep the best parts in it so it will do the job like it was designed to do.
Would you buy a lamborghini and try to put a chevy engine in it? Kind of would defeat the purpose of buying a highend car in the first place.
Make a budget and live with in it. If you only can afford a cheap knock off that is all you can afford.
Also I will ask again for you to make a Introduction post as I did in your first thread on Latex paint.

Please do not make us ask a third time for such a simple thing.
