Iwata trigger question?

Detail Decepticon!
Hi, I was hoping someone knew the answer to this or where to find the info..

On a Coast Airbrush live feed on Facebook they were talking about putting the taller triggers from a Kustom (which is a two piece trigger like Eclipse) on other brushes that have single piece triggers.

They said that to do the mod, you remove the valve pin?

I was under the impression they meant remove the pin from say, a HP-CH under the trigger, and then an Eclipse or Kustom two piece trigger would go in the hole?

What about the o-ring?

Anybody know about this?

Nope!!! I see Dru will be selling the shorter triggers next month!! Kind of the opposite of what you want!!! :)

I don't want a tall trigger. I was trying to learn the mechanics of the trigger pin... for other types of trigger swaps :)

That's cool Dru will be selling the short ones! When do you expect the ones you are having custom made?

I would think that your assumption is correct - that you remove the small, brass pin that fits in the top of the air valve. The two piece triggers have the same pin, only captured within the trigger by a cross pin. The o-ring would stay in place.

That's what I thought. Just didn't know if the pin was same size for the o-ring. I will give it a try and post my results. Thanks
