    Thanks MrM, I'm also thinking how all my pictures beforehand are out too! Just as well Photobucket is dead! Been an intense week for my head and this silly realisation to use a scanner has been the icing!!!

    I wonder how many people actually gave in and paid photobucket their ransom.

    If anyone ever gave me a hard image I always used my scanner to iether copy it or enlarge it if it was a standard small photo, but I too am a bit of a dumpling since I struggled to get a decent photo of my paint pal before I sent it, and I could have scanned it:confused::confused::confused: learning stuff is the bee's knees but locking the stable door after the horse has bolted just stinkso_O

    I blame the people who make printers for this oversight, they shouldn't have changed the name from "combined printer, photo copier and SCANNER" to "all in one printer" forcing people of lower intelligence like myself to have to guess exactly what it is that it does, my brother told me his can send faxes and I said "ffs, don't complicate it anymore than it already is":thumbsdown:

    So much better. I bet it is still not like viewing it in person. I have an epson scanner and don't use it much. Looks like I need to use it more for my stuff also.

    I’ll just add my own head slap to this conversation. I’d never thought of using my scanner either. Not that I have anything like the detail to display on my own work of course! Mr Walken is an astounding piece musicmacd.

    thank you for quoting this! I had not heard of this yet " this buffered paint "so I looked up this on the internet and found that Dru Blair uses this technique :thumbsup:
