Badger 150 air cap mod

Has anyone tried to grind down an air cap for a 150? It's a pain to remove the cap just to clean off the needle. I know it will be unprotected but thats the risk I'm willing to take.
I've tired looking for the bullet head but nothing on the net.

I don't know if it will work but you might try ordering one for the badger krome as it might fit the 150

The rim does nothing but protect the needle so go ahead and trim away. Just make sure you mark it clear where you want to trim. Or you can get the Sotar head and needle and then you've got a pronged needle cap.

Don't know if you have a ac moore around you but in my area they have 150 parts.
