Hi guys, I need some advice please for total newbie.

I have just started to airbrush and my compressor has a small water trap, with toggle pin under the filter to release moisture. However I am getting small amounts of moisture in the flexible pipe between moisture trap and spray gun.. Does the plastic bowl unscrew for cleaning ??? do want to break it obviously !!

Cheers in advance for any help with this.

Or is this normal and I fit a second moisture trap just before the spray gun ?????

Water comes from heat, causing condensation. There are ways to help with cooling the air. A lot of people use an “in-line” moisture trap air filter as a last line of defense. You can try putting moisture trap further from the compressor or adding additional ones.

Like many here i have one on the compressor and one on the brush end as Joooseph has posted above. it also serves as a good grip-aid with holding the airbrush.
I've never had moisture in it but i feel better knowing its there and i can see it easily.
