sorry, I'm new to this so maybe you already have something on this forum about different styles of airbrush like tattoo's, t-shirt s, cars etc. Maybe how much to rate your artwork at just starting out, and good places to start making money at for your art etc.

I am not really sure what you are asking. Do you mean sections to post in?
We have a WIP (Work in progress) section , That is for any and all work .
But how about making a proper introduction to tells us about yourself.
You know how long you have been airbrushing, What part of the world you live in. What paints and airbrush you use.
What style of art you like.
It is hard for you to rate your own art work when you first start out.
How to make money that is totally up to knowing your area and what it will support. My area it is Mail boxes, Motorcycles , and farm equipment . 50 miles from here it changes to cars, travel trailers and 4 wheelers.

Where I live motor bikes, and related paraphernalia. As for price, that's a law unto itself, and usually based not on the time or effort it takes to do it (you will rarely ever get the money for the time actually taken) but on what you think the person is likely to be happy to pay, and making sure the costs are covered. If you are a well known and busy airbruisher, and have a history and impressive back catalogue, then you can charge good money. Even then you can price yourself out of the market, as no matter how much you are respected and admired, you still need to be affordable to the majority. So it depends on where you are and the market you want to aim for. See who else is doing similar work in your area, and maybe choose to specialise in something that isn't already well covered to give yourself an added attraction.

So to make people aware of you, use social media, and have a record of what you've done, and also have display pieces and maybe go to events that the people you are aiming at are likely to be.

these questions come up a lot and its really based on where you are and what you want to be doing. If your airbrushing for an income, easy and quick is the way to make money, like TShirts and Tattoo's and you can do extremely well but as many fail as they do succeed due to location or overhead issues, others paint more for the love of the artform, those that do are generally happy to cover costs. 60 gee a month would certainly not be the norm but in a high traffic location such as vegas they may get a crapload of drunk foot traffic-perfect for a TShirt/Tattoo stand but overheads may be a crapload too but money can be made easily from airbrushing once you understand the market your aiming for and you jump in and give it a go..Portaits used to be a good seller but the middle incomers are suffering and things like art are sometimes the first thing to go of the needs list- So find a flush market and you can do extremely well- Best of luck

thank you I'm so glad that there are other people that have the experience to share with us newbie s and it makes such a difference. I want to learn and practice and not just make quick money but be proud of the work I put into my art as well and make something that will stand out I know exactly what your saying they have a great set up in Vegas but we have to go by what others can pay for ,and try to be unique in the state where you live . Thanks again for the info I appreciate you all taking the time to respond.

I just sold my first painting for TWO bottles of paint, TWO canvases, and 16 pints of guinness. Doesn't get any better than that.

It's a fast food chain that sells burgers and the like. I am surprised you have not heard of it. I thought that Macdonald 's is pretty much everywhere... but don't worry, you have not missed a thing...
