Createx Illustration paints on Blair Synthetic paper. 12x8"

Just quickly I want to show what you do with this combo, let's say the paint don't at all, or pulling lashes is just too hard, you can always paint this

Buffered paint for the whites, wee bit of erasing for some texture and very thin blue/Orange for the shadows. Now it's down to business! IMG_1973.JPG

It's a positive for synthetic papers in general! They usually get a bad wrap!

Definitely! It’s interesting to see different techniques for different surfaces.

Nothing wrong with being mad, I've spent nearly 60 years trying to be mad, doing well with it but still quite a way to go:thumbsup:

While you were doing that little patch of skin I spent the same amount of time puting a regulator onto my new compressor, it should have been a five minute job but the geezers who make all this stuff don't arrange threads so that everything points straight up, but never mind, 6 rolls of ptfe tape and a load of cussing later, it's done and it works, OK the compressor now weighs 60 kg instead of the 15 stated in the manual but it works:thumbsup:

Would that patch of skin have been quicker if you hadn't trashed your K33 micron, what the hell were you thinking about?:eek::eek:

Keep going MacD, you cant bail on it, you know there's that moment where we are 'bored' with the painting, or it just looks like crap........ all just part of the process.

Maybe you need some Starwars time, or Marvel time as a break from faces

Keep cracking away Mate. I’m sure even someone with your skills paints themselves into a knot every so often. I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
(The above comment is in no way related to what I’m seeing LOL, just what you’re saying).
