Hi all, just finished my first Harley job. It`s for a friend of mine who is a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a paratrooper in the 173rd Airborne in Nam. He is also Apache Indian by heritage. He just wanted the whole bike covered in his life story. He left the artwork up to me. He also won a Star for bravery which i have included. Bike is a 1999 Custom Softail Classic. Paint is all Trident paint and some inks. Finished in 2 triple header coats of Single pack automotive clear, hand buffed and polished. All components came to me in their raw steel state. Hours of work prepping for airbrushing. Will post more pics when bike is assembled. It also has Australian and New Zealand flags. Be pleased to hear any remarks good or bad. I am self taught and it is just a hobby for me. Cheers from down under, Brushit.

Really nice art and execution. A great tribute to his service and heritage. It'll be great to see it all put together.

Nicely painted @brushit the pictures are really good. My only concern would be the single pack clear, tell your friend to be careful when filling up with fuel as the single pack isnt as resistant as 2k. Any spillage should be wiped off straight away.

Nice work. Beautiful tribute and design. I love that you brought his heritage into the composition. Your client/mate will love it! A lot of work there.

My only comment for your next one would be that you could have sharpened up some edges and increased the contrast in some of your images. But in no way am I saying what you've accomplished isn't awesome. Always learning, always growing.:thumbsup::)

Thank you for your nice comments. I`ll take your advice on board. Good to hear other members opinions. I learn something new every day. The indians face was not intended to be sharp. It is in spirit form looking back over his heritage. That was my idea anyway. Thanks again.

Amazing skills you got there! I just love your design and coating. I'm actually looking for some references in airbrush painting for pickup trucks specifically putting details on fender flares.
