Hi,
I'm brand new to airbrushing and have been looking to get a low end airbrush to do some undercoating on some metalwork projects I'm currently working on.
To that end, I recently purchased a 2nd hand Passche D3000 Compressor and 'H' airbrush off of ebay. Everything seems ok, and the compressor works and gets up to it's stated PSi without any leaks or issues. The problem I'm having is how the hose connects to the regulator on the compressor as there seems to be an awful lot of play between the nut on the end of the hose and the bit that holds it on. I can never get the connection tight as the nut does not 'do up' sufficiently to allow this. A seal does seem to form when the air is switched on, as the bit that moves is forced into place, but I can hear and feel air linking from the connection.
I have uploaded a short video to Vimeo that shows the problem...
Any opinions or suggestions, most welcome.
Cheers
Joe
