Painting a wolf ...without scratching

oleg

Needle-chuck Ninja
Hallo, everyone! I've thought to do it on wooden box. I have one, left out of chess... I have no try to paint something "fluffy" , you know, fishes aren't fluffy at all... An so I start yersterday. I found a pic and maximized the size of that and transferd on ...backing paper exect from the screen with a brush and gouache colors. Then I started to 'pump' it... After some hours of only traces I thought I neve could get what I want. Do not give up- was on my hand and head. I went to tutorials. And have to read and whatch again... Tomorrow never comes...

So! Thank you all people! I woke up and after important ttnigs for my famely, I went to my "wolf". It's been wating for me all th night.
Without scraching it should be... to rich the sructure of fur - spread the brush on surface twistinge midle in the way you mean to paint the pice of fur (?it easy to say in russian for me:)) In this triangler space I spray a bit of mixture of a litegray to construct the future texture, couse the internaty "tracing" dose not build it as I realized. O! here on photo the stansil that I used. The important for me were eyes and nose.

Then I did what I should and mixed what I want.... But "He" turned out a kind of "smiley" Left side of hes rim was to "up" for my mind.

He was a god 'DOG" and let me do anything about him. We had to solve to place him back to the forest in a kind of "mistynight''... So He is there now. Not far from me.

I like it Oleg! Turned out great!

And it's not that you didn't follow it 100% - it's that you used your own methods to put your own twist and interpretation on it right! You don't need to be pro, a good painting is a good painting, and you should be proud of this!

The brush technique is very interesting and innovative.
I think this work is very proffesional looking, Oleg, and you should be proud of it.
Well done.
