image.jpeg I ordered a projector. I don't know anything about them. I should have asked on here first. I didn't know this category was on here.

I only plan to use it for airbrushing purposes. It was the best "deal" ($39) I could find with a brand name that I've heard of. I read that Sanyo doesn't make projectors anymore ( bought by Panasonic?). The one I bought has zero hours of use & replacement lamps are only $25.

    Anyway, it's the PLC SW30

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't know that brand or machine, but presuming as me you'll only use it to occasionaly transferan image you realy can't go wrong. the lightbulbs will last a life time when you use it a couple of times a year and for transfering images you don't realy need very high reolutions (mine does 800x600 sometimes it would be nice if it had a bit higher resolution but it's enough for what it's suposed to do)

It would seem you landed on your feet with this one, I just checked on google and it has a native resolution of 800 x 600 which isn't bad at all for what you paid, native resolution is your main concern when buying a projector because the lower that number is the more evidence you will see of lines in the projected image, even though you can protect HD data all data will be converted to its native resolution.

This will be ideal for your intended use:thumbsup:

It may shock you to know that the original recommended retail price of this item was a whopping $1,100

P.S. you can still download the manual for this one if you don't already have it, it's easy enough to find, I found and I'm a black belt in stupidity:thumbsup:

Cool, I'm glad the resolution is ok.

I read that the bulbs are rated for 2000 hours.
