Nice painting and description! Thank you for sharing!
Appreciate it, thanks Micha
Fantastic SBS always love your write ups and your unique humor. I've got to say Squishy, that this is your most realistic work so far, in my humble opinion. When your article first started and you were checking out and testing the paper, I wondered to myself, does she check out the men in her life this way? Ripping, tearing, pulling to see what they are made of??? .
PMSL Thanks @Big John, I lull them into a false sense of security first, then..... Bam! How destructable are you, you gotta be tough to put up with me.
Realism and me will never be friends I think, but your words mean a lot. Realish is what I am aiming for, while still looking like a painting, so maybe I'm heading the right way.
Well since my truck broke down, I finally had time to sit down and really study this. All I can say is Wow!!! That looks terrific Squishy! I once watched a video about how to use a Harder and Steenbeck turtle stencil, and someday I'd like to try it. Hopefully I'll remember this post and reference back to it.
Do you happen to have a bottle of "empty the compressor rusty water" color I could borrow???
I'm sure Squishy will gladly send you a small bottle that you can sample.
as for remembering this thread, you can just bookmark it (options at the top of the thread, it will add it to your 'bookmarks' ......
I could always empty out my compressor and use that to reduce some trans base
Thats a great idea about the bookmark! I gotta use that more often
