I don't spend much time posting comments as I have said before as I know nothing about airbrush equipment or even how to use one properly, I however do ask the odd question which I have had some great answers from you guys and dolls.
I thought I had better post my first attempt at proper use of an airbrush well proper to me.
As I stated on my introduction I make things from wood and this is why I brought an compressor and it came with two cheap brushes. After this a nice decent one is on the Christmas/Birthday wish list. For this I also used Wicked paints.
I think it took me longer to mask up than it did to spry this one. So a big thank you to all those that answered questions which enable me to produce this one and hopefully more in the future.
OK nothing special compared to the fantastic art work you al produce.

The bowl is 13 1/2" X 2 1/2". If you spot faults let me know how I can avoid them in future.

Looks really good, I love handmade wooden pieces. I work with lathes,Mills and precision grinders daily but don't do much woodwork, hopefully one day that will change.

If this is your first I can't wait to see your work after some time

Thank you all. Now I have to think what the next will be. I have another two largish bowl blanks that will make 18" bowls and give me room to decorate. But first I need to finish writing an article for the Woodworker magazine on a truck build. See photo DSCF7230 - Copy (1280x960).jpg

Thank you all again yes I enjoy doing a mix of things to decorate my bowls.

As much as that is a nice looking truck I prefer the older ones as they seem to have more character

Well I think you missed the joke about setting it on fire lol :p I completely agree about the older models being more pleasing to the eye... but today's trucks are much more liveable!
