I promise a SBS, here it is.

For this painting I use frisket film. I transfer the outlines with a pencil and cut out the whole figure.
The Background I paint with a white Brazilbraun mix. Then I scuff it with steel wool.
After spraying the background I have the figure divided into three parts. First the skinand hair, second the poncho and last the Sombrero.
I start with the skin tones. I covered all other areas.
Basis tone is Schmincke “Hautton” 2 thin layers for bring the body in shape.
For the eyes and lips I cut little stecils and spray with “black” and “Krapprot”.
I add step by step “Brazilbraun” and “Karminrot” to the “Hautton” and built up the “curves”.
For the darkest shadows I add “Preussisch Blau”.

I spray this stencil with “Brazilbraun” and remove it. Then I add some black and spray all the wrinkles. The stripes I supplement with color pens. (Sometimes I'm lazy. ) For the brown of the poncho I spray thin layers of Brazilbraun and Krapprot.

With Brazilbraun and Krapprot I can color mixing from skin tones to near black.
