Hey, good to hear from you fella! That thing looks awesome! I wonder if I would accidently move the air pressure valve though, the way I hold the brush. That writing is incredible, I can't write that small with a penor pencil. Amazing!

The penny is actually one euro-cent and believe it or not it is less than one centimeter across

Thanks for the replies guys. I have been in a somewhat difficult spot that required me to attend to other things. The 'Japan' on the brush is because it is based on a well known Japanese airbrush, but it was developed in Spain as far as I understand it. I knew that some oil paints (from The Netherlands) had very fine pigments, but was not aware that they would be fine enough to be sprayed through such a fine nozzle. Kudo's to Poul Carbajal for testing this out. You might want to check out his site as well; it has very stylish and skilled work.

I want one but heck hope it comes with the paint thats one fine nozzle. I could definately use it as lonk as I could find a paint to spray through it might be limited to inks or dyes with it.

These are among the paints Poul Carbajal uses:

    http://www.oldholland.com/

you have t dilute them yourself, probably with the usual medium used by hairy brush painters (terpentine like liquids). I will ask Fran if he can give me a clue about the mix ratios.

    Fran just sent me this...:

    15042_535719146478513_1604089239_n.jpg

he spayed this in 10 minutes using Wicked Illustration for this test...., but usually he uses 'Old Holland' oil paints that he says very, very diluted (we have some difficulty communicating and use Google Translate).

    Really incredible...

Any idea of what the cost is gonna be. I know it seems everytime a airbrush like this is introduced the price is ungodly and not within the limits to make it a surviving selling brush and it usually is due to the fact micro machining is very expensive.

Not yet. Fran told me yesterday it is going to be available soon, but gave no specific date or price. If it is sold I would be prepared to pay a lot for it....
