I could not get my MP-200-b to work properly even with etac efx, there does seem to be a slight issue with the needle which I need to address, I have not dropped it or messed with it so thats how it came. I know its not the paint as i used the same mixture in 2 other airbrushes without any issues one being a 0.12 so the 0.18 nozzle size of the 200b was not the issue which is what i thought it was. When I get it sorted i will try again.
The needles are VERY fragile. I've not replaced a needle in any of my guns in 5 years *touch wood* and I've damaged 2 Olympos needles in 3 months and that is just by spraying bits here and there.
Is it not possible to replace the needles with iwata or some other brand? if the needle is the main problem with these brushes I would imagine it would be worth while to pay a little more for a needle that is less fragile, or maybe even look into tempering the needles to make them stronger.

That was my next try. I am also going to try a needle from the cheap Chinese knock-offs.

I'm now trying my HP-B's needle and nozzle in the Olympos and it is working great.
Not so fast. It is HP-B and not HP-B Plus. The two are not the same and is not so freely available. There you go, endless supply of less fragile spares[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

It's not an issue for now http://www.merriartist.com/Parts_for_Iwata_Hi_Performance_Plus_s/748.htm
Andre, so you mean that HP-B nozzle are interchangeable with HP-100SB? How their performance differs?
