USA Trouble with order from Chicago airbrush

They sent me wrong stuff - have been trying to contact them for a month no answer on phone does not go to their answering machine anymore refusing to respond to emails sent- genesis art is not answering either they are together- It is like they fell off face of the earth but still posting on facebook
 
Sorry to hear this. They are a very well respected company, and used by many forum members. I am guessing as they are very popular that phoning is going to be a case of letting it ring and ring as I'm sure they are inundated with calls, and probably an answer phone can't handle the volume of messages perhaps. As for emails are you certain you have the correct one? And that you aren't sending it to the wrong department, or it isn't mispelled etc - sorry if that seems obvious, but its a mistake I have made (with a different company) in the past so thought it worth mentioning. As for facebook, I have contacted them a few times through it, and even though I am not in the same country and so not buying a product from them, they have always responded and been more than helpful - have you tried this route?

Sucks that you are having a bad experience, and I hope it is resolved soon, but the posts I have read from happy customers over the years indicate that this is not the norm, and so I can't agree with your recommendation for others not to use them, though I can understand your frustration, and you can only go by your own experiences which haven't been great.

Not disputing your issue. However seeing this and having great service there in the past I called them myself.

They answered on the second ring. I spoke with the owner who did tell me he was in Spain last week.
They are moving and he did tell me they were having some phone issues.
He was very apologetic to me even though I didn't have the issue.

He also told me the art supply and the Genesis section were different.
Good luck getting the issue sorted. I can understand the frustration!
 
Cool Nada, so maybe try phoning again Jared seems like last week wasn't a good time, and if you were also trying over xmas and new year, well that is never good for most businesses I guess. (what time did you call Nada, is that usually a good time?? ) And if there are still issues, then again try facebook, I have always had a response by the next day at the latest.

Unfortunately mistakes can happen to anyone, just sucky that its happened to one of our members this time. Hope its resolved soon. Please let us know the outcome, and what they did to fix the situation, always good to know what companies do to make good if things go wrong :)

I Changed the title of your thread , While you may be having issues with an order you placed, Many on here have had nothing be perfect service from them. It also seems Nada was able to call them direct ,

They have moved. Maybe thats the problem
 
I just had a look at their website, so many cool things... I think I'm in love...

No not being able to get to the phone is not issue- they have answering machine that says genesis art and Chicago airbrush this is gone at times phone call does not even go through- no response to repeated emails sent- I have had great experiences with them- but when you order something from company and they have GONE AWOL come on
 
If they have moved then leave something on the damn answering machine to say so - who would not do that to let valued customers know what the hell is going on!

Yes , Many have had this happen but they act like adults and find answers.
I have had miss shipped orders , usually if it is during the holiday season it was caused by temp help that a lot of places have to hire to keep up. Mistake happen .
You mean to tell me you have never in you life made a mistake ?
The only one I have seen crying so far is you. It has been a month . So during Christmas and New years time frame which is the busiest time of the year for all places of business.
I suggest being that others have reached them by phone then you should be able to reach them.
 
I have a buddy that had an order from them that got wrong. He wasn't very happy about it at the time. But they did fix it. And some. You're right, I would be unhappy about a messed up order. I'm not thrilled that they are out of Kustoms for another week. I shop with them because of the deals & take my chances knowing that they make mistakes. Here is the number I called for them:

Look mate, I'm not wanting to be unrespectful, but nobody has had issues with Coast neither with Chicago before, but you have had issues with both of them in a matter of weeks, take your time, relax yourself and maybe you can solve the issue like you did the last time. Both are great companies and shipments can be lost in the mail, and can be closed for hollidays, that doesn't meant that they are bad companies.

I see people commiserating with your understandable frustration, giving you information you did not appear to have at the beginning of this thread, (otherwise why the dropped off the face of the earth comment) and offering suggestions and times that may help.

If that advice isn't what you need, or if people express surprise - especially after the original title of this post -, and have a different opinion, it doesn't entitle you to respond with this attitude.

Please consider your responses more carefully. You are entitled to your views based on your experiences, but you are also expected to voice them in an appropriate manner, without redirecting your frustrations toward other members. If you do not feel this is something you can do, then this is not the forum for you.

In the meantime, I hope some of the info can help you, and your issue is resolved soon.
