Hi I'm having trouble with my brush...it seems fine spraying and then it starts blotching i think it is called
spirding
use transparent paint with transparent base
I replace the nozzle l and needle but was still doing the same

What paint/reducer? Can you post some photos of the problem?

Yes photos and more info will help, but a quick thought, is it possible you have water in your airline.

Microns are touchy with paint reduction. Transparent base is NOT a reducer of viscosity. I've seen for years people using the term "reducer" for both a "base" and a thinning agent like 4012 createx.

Ill send some photo's
what Ive been doing is 1 drop of transparent and one part of base ( illustration base 5608 )
I am trying and I say trying to do tutorial step by step of the Cat on clayboarb
it has Green around the eye but when putting the green on the its just goes spider ing

spidering= to much pressure and to much viscosity , lower the pressure till the paint flows just right

Trans base is just the paint carrier with no pigment added. You need reducer which is 4012 or W500 (they are the same). The base reduces the amount of pigment per drop, making colours more translucent, but isn't a reducer in the traditional sense I believe.

cat pic green around the eye
I checked the lines for any water in it

I wonder if it's too thin or too high pressure... What pressure? And remember hard surfaces spider easier than absorbent ones.

Im using 32 psi but Ive got the thing on the airbrush to lower the pressure
OK at 32 psi you don't need to reduce the paint... :) Drop it to more like 20... Press the trigger when you set the pressure and always set the pressure by bringing it up rather than dropping it down...

the paint is createx
what can I erase with ?
Createx what... there are a few different types. If it is the original then it is a paint designed for textiles mainly. If it is Illustration then that is better. Options for erasing... eraser... (like the pencil ones...), electric, pencil, so many options, then there are scalpels, dowels for scratching... are you following the tutorial book? If so the guide shows the erasers. With the clay board you can completely scratch the paint off (gently of course) and re spray it.

judging by your past thread (http://www.airbrushforum.org/threads/createx-transprent-paint.17440/#post-261279) I'm under the impression that you are using 'standard' createx... which isn't designed for illustration work, (or a CM brush) . it will clog rapidly in the smaller needle. It needs a .5 and your trying to push it through something half that size.

As has been said above, transparent base is a colorless paint, designed to dilute the colours, not thin the paint.
In order to make the paint thinner and more acceptable to the smaller needles you need a reducer, you mentioned you had some in your other thread so use that.

Change to the Illustration paint that you said you had, find a long thin skewer (the type they use for skewering meat) and stir the paint well, make sure you get all the mix at the bottom. then when you are done, use a piece of old stocking over the neck of the bottle and use that as a filter when you put it in the brush.
put your reducer in the cup, then add the paint, give it a good shake - with the lid on obviously, do a couple of test sprays to get things flowing. With your airflow at minimal pressure, do a test spray (close to the surface like you would do for Meow) and slowly bring up the pressure until its flowing well.

Hopefully you can get this sorted out and get going with Meow.

Yes Im using Transplant Ceatex paint ( that's what is says on the tutorial ) ( why I still doing know, I'm in the processed of finding it out )
As I was eraseing the green off I erase part of the black on the eye, so I erased it all. and started again
using whats being suggested on the tread
Ive had some filters for the paint, but as you said to make sure the bottom is stared first
I love this forum. you find out so much and the problems sorted out

Did you say Illustration paint and not use transparent ?
The transparent is very thick and wont go through a 260 micron paint filter I bought of a car paint supplier
so I used a stocking (not mine) to filter it.. I started the cat again but remembered what you wrote. Ive started the black part of the eyes and the nose
Ill go on the Illustration paint to do the rest of it....
I think my gauge is wrong on 20 psi the paint was snotty and on 30 psi it seemed to come alright but that was with the trans paint , ill try it with the Illustration paint

If it's the airbrush tutor tutorial I doubt it is straight createx. Could you post a photo of it? I'm also suspicious if it won't go through a filter...

Ive tried to send photo but its says its too big (no mater size i make it )
on the tutorial he's not saying what paint to use he' just saying to use transparent
the paint im using is over 2 years old i dont think i have the colors on the Illustration paint that not two years old
I have some wicked Paint which is new Can i use that?
