Eye art in a box transparent flesh colour?

Hi, i have received the eye in the box, i went for the one without the paints as the other wasn't available.

Have not started painting yet but have watched the video.

Can someone tell me how do i make a transparent flesh colour without using white? As i understand, if i add white it will make it opaque and the one Dru's using is transparent.

thanks.

Send Dru a PM on Facebook or email him and he will give you the recipe :)

Do you mean you purchased the base kit without Createx color wheel set? Even in the base kit I think he supplies enough paint to complete the project in several forms. I know my kit came with several small bottles - black, sepia, flesh, blue, red-violet maybe one or two more - they were just like half ounce or so. Maybe that changed when he started offering the kit with the full set of paints?

I think you're confused @DaveG...
originally the eye in a box was only available with the small bottles of paint as you have mentioned above. Later the option was available for the 'kit' without paint or tools.
For those of us that already have full sets of the paints or already have the tools it seems silly to duplicate what we already have.

'splains it! I knew that complete color wheel sets had been added, but did not know that the tools and paint had been removed from the other... just went and looked, and do see that there are now three levels of "kit" available.

Oh okay...... so we've both been educated... last I looked there were just check boxes if you wanted to include paints / tools.
Nice to see he's got all levels covered :)

The skull has been ordered, just a waiting game now.

same here, very anxious to work on the old bones. Also to work on a larger sample of his paper :). I've started watching the video content, so I will be able to hit the ground running when it arrives

I deliberately haven't checked out the video yet. I need to finish a project before I get side tracked LOL

I started incorporating what I watched into the project(s) I am already working on (yupo) :p:D:)

im doing a fluffy puppy so I don't think a skull texture would find anywhere usefull. but yes, once this is done I'll grab some spare paper and just practice the textures from the vid.
