H&S Evolution

No this one on offer up..i seen the one on ebay and wanted to pull the trigger, but my ebay luck has not been so good lately. The one on ebay i believe was 99.95 which i believe is still good

Well some guy showed up and talked the guy down to 60.00 before i could get off work to get there.:(. I still have the ebay one that i just seen he dropped his price, but im leary on ebay. Think i will go with my original plan and just get the eclipse from Hobbylobby.

buying used is always a gamble, you could be up for new needle / nozzle/aircap
at least with the coupons you guys can access, it lessens the pain a bit.

ebay offers the money back guarantee, I bought two brushes that were advertised as "excellent" but was actually in poor condition and got my money back on both.

Ok thanks..i got some decisions to make by tomorrow. Buy the H&S off ebay used, buy a new eclipse sb off ebay, or buy a new hp cs at hobbylobby with coupon. Did a tell anyone i hate decisions...lol

We hate decisions too, that's why we just buy everything, no decisions . . . . just shut up and take my money :laugh:

never underestimate the feel of a good tool in your hand............... *leaves door open for the gutter crew - calling @Squishy*

I love the feel of my tool, it fits so nicely in my hand, so smooth and polished..

I would get the one from hobby lobby with the coupon.

Couldn't agree more with @mike k . I was looking for a new brush and wanted either the hp-sb or hp-b. I found the hp-sb on ebay and it was unreal just how dirty the brush, I posted some pics in one of my posts a few weeks back. It wouldn't spray right even after multiple soaking in restorer so I got my money back, few days later I found a hp-b on ebay. This one was pretty clean but the part of the brush that the nozzle screws into was badly deformed and affected performance, again I got my money back. These brushes were advertised are "excellent" and "like new", fast forward a few weeks and I bought a new cm-sb and it was the best decision I ever made.

The only way I would buy a used brush now is it if was from someone on this board, the majority of used brushes on ebay are from estate sales or other non owners.

Personally if you don't have enough money for a high end brush (hp series hp-b,hp-c,hp-sb or cm) definitely go with the eclipse (hp-bc hp-sbs hp-cs), you will not be disappointed, I would go with the hp-sbs over the regular eclipse brushes for the ease of color changes or even if you take a break you can take the cup off and clean the brush really quick and it will be fine when you return.
