I can’t help myself..it’s here. Gsi Creos PS-770. Wow it’s pretty! I’ll be tearing it down in a bit and get a few pics of the parts etc. I do have a question however. How far can I safely tear it down..I know I probably don’t have to but being a former Marine I gotta do it, plus it gets me familiar with it. The head is my biggest concern. Also, never had a Mac valve on any airbrush, do I just open it up all the way and start from there? Here is a teaser pic until later.

It is some sort of a satin finish over brass. It is quite nice, at least in my opinion.

As far as tearing it down, there is no reason to remove the nozzle from the head assembly. Aside from that, have at it. There is a complete tear down album on my FB page that can help guide you through the build on this brush - different brush, but same assembly - https://www.facebook.com/1063587837080137/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1162298667209053

Thanks Dave I will look at that before I tear anything down

Ok....ran some Payne’s grey thru it real quick before dinner...ummmmmmm, you peeps with microns have been cheating! Omg this thing is awesome !!!

Made some lines and got familiar with th Mac valve, yea I’m gonna like that thing. I was spraying with such little air I could not even hear it. Bad thing is I’m whipped from work today so not sure I’m going to get much mor time on it. I did do something I’ve never done before or was able to do..pic says it all. For the pros I’m sure no big deal but for me it was epic!
And, I went over it twice. Lol

The ps770 is on top of my list to purchase currently. Looking forward to seeing your further observations, Joe T, but so far, and including your notes, it looks very encouraging.

They really don’t get in the way of anything for me..racing grooves. Lol
They arent as annoying as they used to be to me, almost don't bother me anymore but.... for a brush just the way i want it ....you know.
Anyhow, glad you like(love) it man
Do you find yourself using that mac as a forward handle any?
I know i do

Dave, the link you posted sends me to your page and not a particular post. Can you tell me which one I’m looking for. Enjoying looking thru them all however.

"Airbrush disassembly 101" . Go to the photos tab, then albums. Under Albums, hit see all...

Reading as we speak....man, your FB page is full of info. I hope you get one of these e eventually and do a review...would love to see a pros opinion
As I have said, it is the same brush as a CM-C+, using a .18 needle and nozzle. You can not go wrong  if it is a Micron you are looking for. Prior to Spraygunner carrying them, it was a bit difficult to find parts, but they seem to have that well under control.
