Went ahead and re-did it my way.
I like that way of yours!
You pushing me towards making my own handle, but I had an idea to make it out off the brass, treat the part the way I had in my mind and then to chrome plate it.
By the way Dave, I've got an idea to improve the triggers you do. It will improve the performance at the time there will be minus one operation while milling.

I cut my first batch of handles from 7075 aluminum with intentions of finishing them one way. While in process I decided I wanted some of them to be plated - plating aluminum is not as easy as brass... the next batch I have underway are cut from brass. The triggers - you gonna cut them yourself, or spill the beans?I like that way of yours!

When I questioned you about the handles treatment in your thread about the materials, I wasn't by that time on your FB page with explanations of which material they were done with.
As far as I know you wouldn't chrome plate plate the aluminum, but it's possible to plate it with different colours by using different chemicals. Though, I'm interested only in chrome plated handles

I'm not going to cut for some reasons
First - I don't have any lathe or miller at home now, second - short triggers are not for my way of painting, even stock triggers of A-SB models are short and inconvenient for me, third - I don't have time for production, and many other excuses for nowSpilling the beans will happen in other thread of yours after photos will be taken. For easier explanation. No secrets

6 one half dozen another... I have everything minus the needed acid to run my anodizing set up. I have everything to plate copper, nickel, and chrome in place and ready to use. So, I chose to try to plate the 7075 by zincating first, copper, then nickel plate... it has been a wicked pain in the arse, because 7075 is not like 6061 - so there has been a steep learning curve. I have no idea why I have been so hesitant to get the battery acid needed to run my anodizing set up... I have done a ton of anodizing...

I should mention someone has asked me to cut a taller trigger for them - so this may be something that gets added to the inventory.

It's not quite clear to me what you say by "regardless of what anyone says, you are alright"
My point is taller trigger is more convenient for painting in any position except sitting. My goal is airbrushing relatively big size works at the easel and custom airbrushing (auto, moto, just anything). In all these cases you wouldn't sit at angled surface, like making illustrations.
I think many people work this way and concerning your manufacturing of parts it would be good idea to add taller version.
I've found what's best for me now and you know what it is. The thread is on the forum
BTW, your price is good, concerning how much work involved, so not many would come to beat it, if any. I mean in custom trigger production.
