will this work?

Dimitris

Mac-Valve Maestro!
As I've mentioned in previous post my compressor is probably going to need a new air-tank.

And because I've had it for a very loooong time and have not shown any problems at all I was told that I could replace the air-tank with this one with a few modifications (mounting compressor-air tank, re-calibrate the pressure switch).
The air-tank that suggested me is the Sparmax 5.3L Airtank (https://www.air-craft.net/acatalog/Sparmax-5.3L-Airtank-System.html).
You know better guys (and girls), is it capable? And safe?
The sil-air still costs a lot and the compressor is in excellent condition.

Dimitris: *Damn husky, why did you open that thread and posted that video...*
Husky: *You need Robby the Jedi master here...*
Dimitris: *Still gonna cost me money :( *
Robby: * What seems to be the problem here friking noobs! *

:D

Actually quite good idea to use that compressor on new tank if you don't like your tank anymore :)

So I ease your pain a little Dimitris. I am in the same boat like you. Wen't to check compressor yesterday, the one I wanna to buy. I would be screwed if I wouldn't talk about compressors with Robby few months ago. I would waste my money.

I had trouble finding any cheap tanks over there ...or compressors for that matter.
Seems tanks that are $35 here are triple that there.
And compressors too....geesh

Anyway I'll try and shop around a little.

If you're not trying to use the case there are more options.
If you are I'll see what I can come up with.

Either my shopping isn't very good over there or you guys get screwed.

If it were here I'd go to Walmart and get a Campbell housefield 1 gallon hot dog compressor for like $40 and use it for parts

compressors and tanks are mucho eurisimo in our countries...

Rusty series?? It's rusty allready!:D

The Sparmax air tank seemed the only solution until I contacted the model shop I purchased the compressor and said that they might got an air tank for sil-air. They'll check it out and give me a call tomorrow.
I hope they do cause that'll save me a lot of money.
Plus my needs are covered by the sil air tank.

@Robbyrockett2 yes noticed the prices too. But if I get one from overseas, I'm going to pay the difference in customs, that's for sure.

I wonder if there's anything at that place @SiRoxx got his compressor from.... Can't remember where
Mine was from EBay. But it was an EBay Store. I’ll dig out the name and post it up. I don’t know if they did just receivers, but will check.

guys the problem from uk is the shipping. It goes by kilograms. My plan to buy kompressor has 85kg, it would be a fortune to ship that to my country or greece. Even smaller stuff like 5kg are expensive as hell.

Uk has great bambi compressors but when you add on top of that shipping for lets say 25kg you are screwed...

I was thinking more if they just have some 1 gallon Chinese hot dog compressors. To use for parts.
There's gotta be better sources than I'm finding.

Man really sucks, here I could get polished stainless, or aluminum for less than there.

the cheapest variant from uk when we talk about shipping is fulfield by amazon. But, products which are fulfield by amazon are ussualy 1/3 higher price then the rest.
