Hi,

I am very glad that I can be part of this wonderful community. Been browsing for a while and have just started getting help and interacting with the nice people here.

I am located in the US bay area. And I mainly use my airbrushes for my scale model hobby, but was too busy and put things on hold for almost 8 years. Trying to get back into this again.

I am an engineer and like to tinker, so collecting and tinkering with airbrushes is fun for me. I am very impressed with the knowledge and know-how of some of the members here in this area.

Not an artist, so have zero talent in painting.

Hi again and hope to contribute in some small way.

Welcome from Australia,

Once you get settled back into your painting then be sure to post up some pictures. We like seeing what everyone uses as a canvas :)

Hi kkx, Welcome to the forum, no artistic skill necessary depending on what your painting of course, but even with just a little artistic flare you can produce some impressive works. I'm sure you will painting your scale models pretty soon with great results and with our help you will develop skills and techniques that will have you creating some great pieces too.

we like pictures, (especially if you are trying to do explaining or questioning something. ) Its nice to see what we all do with our brushes :)

Hi from the UK. Post up your pics for sure. While there are mostly ABers painting on more traditional surfaces, there some model enthusiasts around too, plus we are generally pretty nosy, so we wanna see watchya up to :D.

Hi,

Now I am under pressure to produce some pictures. I have just started building up my workspace, so it will a while before I can get anything done. I use lacquer paint, so I need to be extra careful about fume.

I live in UK for most of my adult life before moving to US. I was in Cambridgeshire. Miss the weather. :) Wish I can find time to go back for a visit soon.

Welcome kkx. There’s no pressure to post anything Buddy, we’re just nosey that’s all [emoji3]. Glad to have you here with us.

:) No pressure mate lol. Just don't be shy about posting anything. Even your practice and experiments, whether it's a page of splats and splatters, a masterpiece, or a model in basecoat. No trolls here - plus when people can see what you're doing, the advice from the good peeps around here can save you hours ( days...weeks...months....) of experimenting or frustration. Enjoy!
