Air-Valve Autobot!
Here it is, one of the finished, super tough and even kinda pretty SN1's (space needle)

Given availability in many more models, I feel it might be a minor game changer.
Every day I'm more impressed with just how tough these things are.

Yes , they all have this pretty little flame tail.

They are officially on pre release to forum members.

At your request, either a .2 iwata grind or a .18 micron/770 grind in either proper length for a 770/v1 micron or a micron v2 length.

$60 including shipping in the continental US.

Add $14 for international shipping.

Only 6 available right now.

They will be packaged in cardboard, once they hit the store they will be packaged in tubes like Chinese needles .... Just so you're aware.

I know v2's fit in a v1, but I'm told it doesn't leave much needle coming out of the chuck.

770s are v1 length also.

I intend to give that extra length, this could many more possible repairs can be done, and there's enough needle to get a good hold of in v1's.

Hello, at last!

I wonder what the first users would say.
Me too, I've poured an enormous amount time into these things.

I can't directly compare to a k33 as far as tip dry goes.
I know it's better than factory.
My gut feeling is it wont be quite as good in that regard. I just don't think it cuts as clean so I might not be able to reach that level without electropolishing.
I can't be sure though.

In other aspects I know it's superior. As in fully repairable and tough enough to make the need for repair very seldom.
Its hard enough to scratch glass but it's flexible and definitely a nozzle saver.

Also the fact that it will be available for far more than just .18 and .23

It's biggest advantage is durability. That is certain.

Even electropolishing will be another experiment. Nobody can guarantee a certain finish level in small quantities on a custom blended alloy. So that may be something I have to find the right formula for on my own.....

In which case it will come with a finish that can't really be replicated at home so ....idk

Yapp! More repairs, that's what I had in mind. But the lengths means also, as in some chinese models they install such a short needle, that it even not possible to remove the needle normally. Doesn't concern the new V2 though.

I wonder why they did that new limiter without the hole. But I have a drill, it seems they did not now it:malicious:

I know well how much time and money (not all the thing in the list) developing something requires, especially if one spends one's own money, not the company's development budget. For instance, if people would know how much I've spent on things related to ABing, they'd shoot me:)
I feel, they'd do smth similar with you:)

People will tell that. At least Ronald is in waiting, that inspires.
I'm very interested in the comparison.

I know it's better than factory.

It's obvious even from the video. I doubt you'd make such an efforts to develop that you have if it wouldn't be better than the factory.
Imagine what would happen with your sales if you'd sell not what you describe;)

It's only experience will tell. I'll try your polishing with mine. I wonder what the result I'd have. At least, repairs are on the users, so how well your final treatment would work only to the first repair.
Though, you're talking about the tip dry, but these are my thoughts aloud.

Repairable, flexible are the key words. Durability also sounds, but only the experience would tell about this feature:)

Just imagine how I'd need your needles for my new custom air caps!

You'll find sweet spot with the final polishing, I'm sure.

In which case it will come with a finish that can't really be replicated at home so ....idk

At least one could enjoy the time before the repair:) Who knows when the first repair would happen.
