price wise it's a good deal. At least if I compare with europe prices.
Are the paints good for a beginner? I will likely use these to do my PP19, and practice - otherwise the main reason I am getting into ABing is to use it on my miniatures, which I have hundreds of dollars worth of paint for.

In my experience createx classics are pain in the .... to shoot. They are used a lot for t-shirts. I love createx wicked more, cause they flow better in my case.

SET-UP:
Spray-Gun:1.2mm tip-sized operated at29 psi
Airbrush:0.5mm 45+ psi
0.35mm and smaller –reduce with 4012 High Performance Reducer until colors flow and atomize well.
•Generally, the smaller the tip-size and lower the psi, the more paint is reduced.
•Wicked Colors flow and atomize better through smaller tip-sizes and lower psi settings compared to Createx Airbrush Colors

I would rather start with wicked if I would be new guy with airbrushing, but you need some advice from others, cause I'm kinda noobish. :)

It depends how much psi you will use and what you gonna spray.

Those standard createx are great for tshirts BUT i wouldn't be using them on anything else (Although someone on a FB group I am a member of said they work well on lexan RC car bodies). They do also prefer to be sprayed through a 0.5 nozzle and usually at a higher pressure 50 -60 psi. So I would look for something else personally. Try Coast Airbrush, they are pretty reliable, Get some wicked colours from them, they're all round paints and work well. If you were in the UK, I would recommend the paints from Mick Neill at the Airbrush Academy but The shipping cost to Iowa would probably be tremendous.

This is what's up. Cheers buddy!

Primary - https://spraygunner.com/wicked-primary-set-w101-00/
Secondary - https://spraygunner.com/wicked-colors-2oz-secondary-set-w104/

Maybe I will just start with the primary though while I learn. Thank you!!
Primary set for getting to know the paint it's not bad idea. You can also play with mixing as well with them. If you like them, you can buy 22 set. But for example, I can get only 8 bottles for the price you pay for 22, so it's logical I would take 22 bottles set in a heart beat for your price. I spray on t-shirts as well, so I wouldn't think twice for that price. :)

I might be going to Germany in October. Can you fly with paints? I could probably ship them to you from Germany :p. I don't want to get your hopes up. My GF likely can't go because of school, and while she says I can go without her, I feel as though I will greatly regret that decision as soon as I fly out lol.

stop doing this! You making me drool like a friking kid seeing a l o l i p o p -.-

Wicked from SprayGunner is only $4.20 for a 2oz bottle so all 18 colours, a 16 oz reducer and some restorer would only cost you about $90 plus shipping so I would go for a complete set of the wicked.
