Anybody have idea if I can use fan pattern cap from other brushes on eclipse?
@SiRoxx maybe you? If I'm not mistaken you have cs and procon with fan cap?

On the other hand, I was looking at fan pattern caps and seems I can't find option to buy them as a spare part. Maybe I just didn't take enough time.

You’re not mistaken my friend. I do have a CS and the fan capped Procon. The way the cap attaches to the Procon is pretty much the same as a Spray Gun in that it has a collar that goes over the air cap and screws into the end of the body. There isn’t the same thread on the CS. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but I can’t see how without machining.

I’m away from my brushes at the moment, otherwise I’d have taken a couple pics of the actual brush.

thx for your input. I was thinking about a cheap solution for this.

I've got the Iwata Kustom TH at home......I'll try it tonight on the eclipse but I'm not hopeful
Its 7am here so it will be a 'few' hours until I'm home
I'm not in a hurry. Was checking today cap from Iwata th, It's 40 pounds. Still 1/3 the price then buying the whole pattern brush from mr.hobby. I don't need pistol grip, cause I have somewhere preset handle so that would work the same. This would be great option for my bcs.

Dont knock the TH (and similar brushed) until you try it. I bought it for clearcoating smaller projects and for large areas of background.

I didnt think I'd like it as much as I do.

Don't have money for it now :p To much money goes in to this airbrush thingy, and fan pattern brush was not in my plan. I do plan to go up the ladder, but I was thinking about hi performance or hi line. Still don't have a clue, what is better. And I was checking one procon.

Iwata "High Performance", and "Hi Line" brushes are basically identical brushes, with the addition of a MAC valve to the body on the Hi Line. They use all the same parts throughout - so save the money and add a MAC valve to your hose. The Procon brushes are made in the same facility, by the same employee's, so they are for sure viable alternatives. The drawback being that they are all the larger "C" cup configuration. I have added a few more of the GSI Creos brushes to my collection, and they are all very good.

On the TH, I now have the Iwata HP TH as well as the Procon PS290 - and they are identical, with the exception of the built in MAC valve on the Iwata. They are very nice brushes, with either the round pattern, standard head, or the fan cap installed. The TH body is larger diameter than an Eclipse, so no go on mixing and matching parts.

thx for the input. I already have a mac valve on a hose so this solves the mac issue. On other hand I didn't try airbrush with gravity cup, only bottom feed and side feed. So I need to try one gravity feed as well to see if those cups bothering me.

One more thing. Looks like mr.hobby spare availability is rather limited or maybe I am wrong?

Like few things are missing. -.-

I don't know about spares - here (in the States) we have Spraygunner.com, and they have had every part I wanted. When the Procon brushes first started becoming available outside of Japan (which, is more recent than not) parts availability was questionable, but I have seen those concerns becoming less and less necessary. Iwata parts are also an alternative in emergencies - especially on the PS770. Cross reference it with a CM-C+ and virtually all the parts are cross compatible.
