We all use masking tapes for airbrushing and custom painting needs. If to store the tapes somewhere on the shelf in the studio they become dirty over the time by gathering dust on the flat sides of the roll. Especially it concerns us airbrushers creating a lot of dust
The solution of not getting dirty rolls is simple. It's storing the tapes in the CD/DVD box.
Here's how it looks.
It's possible to use this type of box for fine line tapes.
Some of the fine line tape new in full rolls will not come inside the CD box. But good news, you can put them in there when they're a bit used
There are different sizes of the boxes, so you can choose the best that fits your needs.
I use these boxes for many years and the tape rolls remain as new all the time. You need only to remove dust from the box covers from time to time.
