Why should I use Autoair if I can make the same with Wicked?
If I am not mistaken Candies are the only ones which you can't get with wicked?
So, why should I go Autoair? :)

I’m going to follow along with this thread. I’m coming from the place of not liking Wicked, so wondering if Autoair is much different.

I think your Hulk is making you mad!
If you can get some candy2 then I’d suggest one of these 2 (I’d probably go with Poison green) but use transbase instead of 4030, a lot of people have had issues with 4030.
Gerald Mendez uses candy2 and transbase regularly

I can get anything except Etac TNT.

But why one should go autoair?

Lay down a yellow base of wicked / Etac then mist with candy poison green. Auto air v wicked is much of a debate, it’s just that auto air is aimed more at custom car work rather than art work.
have you got the createx color catalog ? If not then email them and ask for a copy, they’ll usually post it out for free

Got it already long time ago when you mentioned I can get it.

Debate is good. Autoair is more expensive. What means in a practical sense that is aimed more at custom work?

A heads up, rumor has it that the Auto Air line is apparently being rolled into Wicked line in the new year. They are apparently the same chemical formulation, with just different pigment options. So it's not an either or situation anymore. :)

so this would be the end of Autoair?

That is my understanding. The AA products won't stop being made, it's just that they will be re-branded as part of wicked line, because they share the same chemistry. So another way of looking at it, is that the Wicked line is absorbing the AA products into it's offerings. They are really the same paint already, so it makes sense. I think it's just a marketing / packaging change.

cause right now autoair is more expensive. At least at my place. And I also noticed createx up-ed their prices in last six months. In Europe, I don't know for states.

Now, I don't have 100% confirmation on this, but know an insider that passed along this.... um... rumor, I guess. It would make sense tho. If they are the same paint, having to maintain two different set of lablels, bottling, packaging, distributor channels, etc. would just be doubling some costs with no real benefit. So AA users will still be able to buy their products, just that the labels will be different.

Yeah, up here in Vancouver BC Canada, the AA stuff is cheaper than the Wicked funny enough, but been vanishing from shelves. Wicked jumped up in price quite a bit about 3 months ago too.

the biggest seller in my country, I am from small country sad to me, they don't sell autoair, cause noone is buying it. So they stopped stocking autoair. But I didn't buy autoair just cause of the price. Nothing else. Everyone told me wicked can do all, and why should I pay premium for autoair then.
