Compressor suggestions

I've got an older 1/5hp compressor that came in a set with 3 'Master' airbrushes (2gravity feed and 1suction). The gravity feed brushes work fine but the suction feed seems to spray for about 5-6 seconds then drops off off to nothing. I've increased the pressure to maximum but it has no effect. I'm thinking the compressor doesn't give me enough constant output air pressure to maintain a constant flow. I'm a complete newbie in all things airbrush so forgive me if I'm going off on the wrong tangent. If I'm right I'd like suggestions for a competent compressor that won't break the bank. Thanks for all the help.

It could also be that the compressor isn’t punching out enough air to feed the siphon, despite the kit providing them together.
If your nice new airbrush isn’t even spraying water from the siphon feed then either the brush is a did or youre not getting enough psi to operate it. If you initially tried spraying paint through it then the paint may now be dried in there and causing issues.
Ideally your pressure gauge should be reading ~ 20 when your gravity brush is plugged in with trigger pressed and around 30 for your siphon feed, anything less and it’s going to work well at all

I'm spraying alcohol based leather dye. On the gravity brush I read about 17-20 steady but in the suction it drops to maybe 10 after the initial 5 second spray. The compressor lists output at 25l/min but with it adjusted all the way in it doesn't get any better in shopping for a better compressor but my banker has set limits to my withdrawal for my hobby hehe

I tried bottom feed eclipse 0.5 nozzle with small compressor with 3 liter tank. On 30 psi it sprayed few seconds(maybe 15 seconds - that would be max, probably we are closer at 10 seconds...) and then it needed to refill.

just for the sake of this topic:

200 bucks, cause it has blemishes.
I doubt you can get it cheaper then this. But others will now it for sure. I am not from states.

edit: forget about this post. I found 8010 cheaper on amazon. I wonder how much amazon takes for shipping cost of those compressors.

Cause shipping to my place is khm...

I would like to thank everyone who had suggestions and/or ideas to fix my suction feed issues. I have an old Porter Cable pancake air compressor for my nail guns. I found adapters that would allow me to connect my airbrush to it. Upon filling the tank, setting my output to 30psi, and then trying out the suction feed gun it worked beautifully. So it turns out that it WAS the lack of a constant high enough pressure to drive the brush. Thank you all and I'm sure I'll be asking more questions in the future

Ronald art, I cannot comment on the airbrushes, but I have two TC96T air compressors and both arrive damaged. The second one was a warranty claim and it arrived with damaged gauge and a leak in a tank fitting. Which air compressors, outside Silentaire, that are fairly well built and useable inside the home? I am just past my beginner stage of airbrushing and I build Star Trek models.

just wondering, where you bought those compressors which arrived damaged?
sry I am a nosey little teddy bear

The California Air compressors are very popular, they have a tank and are very quiet, not silent like a Bambi, SilAir or JunAir, But quiet enough to talk over. They are not that expensive either. There's a few folks on here who have them.

I am considering one of those, but I really need something fairly quiet.
