Latest acquisition

It’s a great site but last time I checked they don’t ship to Australia :(

That is sad Jack. Makes ya wonder why. I dunno:confused:.
in the past they have posted on Facebook a poll of locations that they don't currently post to, as an idea of where their customers were I guess, I submitted but it didn't change anything. they still don't post to Australia :(
I had a blue & gold one all set up in the cart, complete with 'the dragon hunter' engraving and couldn't checkout because they don't post here

It is strange Jack. I did some searching. It's about a 19 hour flight to Australia from Germany. Perhaps H&S can't find a shipping carrier that will give them a reasonable rate.

I'm in no way a business major but does Australia have a tariff on products from Germany or foreign country's in general?

Those are the only things I've thought of.

Well my over exuberance for a custom H&S has faded fast. It would be nice to have and since it seems that I can have it custom made for about the same, or less, price as buying one off the shelf from SprayGunner that is what I'll probably do at some point. I do have one designed and no, I won't be putting my name on it. That would kill resell valuelol.

It would be nice if they offered it as a 2in1. Both cups and a different needle size appeal to me more.
My kids can sell off the rest of my Arsenal when I’m gone and keep the engraved one as a momento !
I am in the same situation. My kids will have a lot of ABs to sell when I've passed onlol.

Having "the Dragon Hunter" on one isn't the same as having your actual name on it though.

I came up with a name I like for the one I designed, if I actually have one custom made.

I have a question for anyone familiar with these. I'm considering buying a custom Cameleon. Will the Chameleon handle fit on my Infinity CR Plus?

I thought about getting a different color handle for the Infinity. Went to the H&S website and they do not offer handles in the various colors. All they offer is the Quick fix end piece with a handle. It doesn't show a color but the SprayGunner website shows the same red handle. It doesn't look like any other options are available. I wouldn't need the whole unit either, which is the only way it is sold.

The reason I ask is if the Chameleon handle fits the Infinity I have I could order the handle color I want for the Infinity and use the red one from the Infinity on the Chameleon I special order as I designed it to have a red handle.

The end piece on the Chameleon is the same as the end piece on the Infinity, they are interchangeable.

Thank you Jason. That is what I thought being you can order a chrome body or a colored one. If I'm not mistaken the Infinity is a different metal as the Chameleon is aluminum.

I'll have to see how difficult it is to remove the Quick fix from the handle as I'd want to swap them out.

The best way to think about it when it comes to Harder & Steenbeck and what the airbrush is made of is that if is anything other than silver looking (nickel or chrome) then its aluminum, because the only way to make those colored pieces is to anodize aluminum. For example my Cult of Paint Infinity is basically a chameleon but is marketed as a Infinity. It has a black aluminum body and end piece with gold accents and a trigger that specialized to Cult of Paint airbrushes. Personally the trigger is what makes the Cult of Paint editions airbrushes for me. It is by far the most comfortable trigger I have ever used on a airbrush and its reversable for left or right handed users.

The Evolution and the Infinity uses the same body. Even the AL version is the same, just different material. It's everything that screws into it that makes it an Evo or Infinity.
