passche talon

yea chicago has the $99 over free shipping.. maybe chicago has the free shipping and raise the $$ on there ab, because coast has little better prices but they dont have free shipping... so it might end up been about the same price on both sides :)
only the passche brand chicago has its cheaper then coast, plus chicago free shipping..

The Eclipse CS is a great brush. Those little compressors that come with kits tend to generate a lot of heat/moisture.
Maybe someone else can chime in, that one does have a tank, so it may not be that bad. I can't tell you for sure.

yea not sure of the comp. either, but it comes with alot of stuff for that price i think..
not sure if the paint its good or like around how much they cost or brands...
i dont think i be drawing tshirt, just on paper...

Cool, let me know how it works out..

Just got it in, will review it against my patriot. Scout ebay for cheap deals, may take some time till you got one but my biggest hit was a badger patriot, a harder and steenbeck evolution, a devillbiss aerograph sprite, a full kit of vallejo paints, a compressor and a couple of airbrush books for 100$.

I'm that someone lol, and i say it's a bad idea. Well it'll work, i currently use one, but it is so extremely loud and it will constantly run. Mine overheats a lot and i'm desperately trying to find a decent one second hand. Some last a month, mine lasted a year and a halve and it's pretty much dying now.

Really don't, it'll frustrate you.

Can you use one of those big shop comps to work with the ab? Probably it be to loud but most of then have a big tank to store a lot of air..

I have a talon as well as several other ab's I can say with the .36 medium tip you can achieve some really fine lines. I love the talon.

Cool, what about the gravity feed vs siphon, I see the siphon are use mostly for tshirt because they used more paint but I was wondering if the gravity feed ab get on the way while your spraying?

I've not got a syphon feed at all apart from a SP2000 side feed which I can attach a bottle if I want but I never have yet. All my other brushes are gravity fed, the large cup on the talon doesn't get in my way at all, I have no problems painting high detail. You will get used to the cup after short time. If you check out the Cameron Diaz in my gallery you will see the detail you can get with the talon, it was done on A4 paper with 1/25 ratio wicked black paint.

I have a cheap large compressor with 40lt tank and 15m hose to the regulator water trap and then my AB and its great. Takes a few mins to get to pressure but once there it only kicks in for a minute every 25 mins.

Works for me. A quieter one would be nice but when i am in the zone I don't hear it.

Ok.. I think I made my decision after days of reading and questions..so even the talon has good reviews, I think I'll go for a badger renegade or iwata eclipse..what u guys think?

Renegade is a detail gun and Eclipse is not. I'm sure you can get the same detail, but it will just be easier with a Renegade.

Yea that's what I was thinking ..
