Cool, let me know how it works out..
I'm that someone , and i say it's a bad idea. Well it'll work, i currently use one, but it is so extremely loud and it will constantly run. Mine overheats a lot and i'm desperately trying to find a decent one second hand. Some last a month, mine lasted a year and a halve and it's pretty much dying now.The Eclipse CS is a great brush. Those little compressors that come with kits tend to generate a lot of heat/moisture.
Maybe someone else can chime in, that one does have a tank, so it may not be that bad. I can't tell you for sure.
I have a cheap large compressor with 40lt tank and 15m hose to the regulator water trap and then my AB and its great. Takes a few mins to get to pressure but once there it only kicks in for a minute every 25 mins. Can you use one of those big shop comps to work with the ab? Probably it be to loud but most of then have a big tank to store a lot of air..
