After having a long time interest in all artwork from fantasy artwork to graffitti , a friend Musicmacd showed me his artwork, and also suggested joining this forum.
After very little encouragement got myself set up and am starting to learn airbrushing. :)
I have an Iwata HP-C Plus 0.2 - 0.3 tip a compressor with a 3 litre tank and auto on/off, also a cheaper airbrush which came with the compressor.
I currently practicing on 250gm paper using magic colour and also com-art ink.

Hello, Mick and welcome to the best AB forum there is.
I'm sure that you'll soon find your way around here and get t know us better.
Musicmacd is certainly a great one to be able to learn from, as he regularly contributes loads of useful info and advice to members here.
As for the questions, here's my 2 cents worth:
!; Ink, by it's very nature, is water soluble, meaning it can easily be 'thinned down' with water.
2; Creating stencils [ depending on the amount of use you want from them ] , is a matter of chossing the correct material. If you want single use stuff, then cardstock or even paper will do the job. If you want a more permanent / durable one, the go-to stuff is Mylar sheet.
3; Just about all the begginner tutes you'll ever need are right over your head!:). See the tutorials on Airbrushtutor's page to get you off and running.

Above all, have fun with your art, and enjoy it!
