I use airbrushing for priming my model vehicles and figures. The figures are then painted in oils while the vehicles get airbrushed colors and clear coats.
I use them (my airbrushes) for different purposes because of tip size. I shoot acrylics, enamels, lacquer, inks, alcohol, etc.
I started with an Aztec, the one that came in the fancy box and all the tips. It worked OK for a year. It failed me. Got a Badger Anthem at Mic...ls with a 50% coupon, then a Badger Patriot, same deal. Good airbrushes. Then I started the Iwata collection (3). Had to have a Dagr. Rescued a Paasche VL at a thrift store, a mercy purchase, I was not leaving it at Value Village to get scattered on the floor. I use nitrogen as an air supply going through welding guages. It is silent (I live in a condo), clean and moisture free.
Looking forward to exploring this site to find out what the rest of the world airbrushes and how.
Cheers Eh!
