I use airbrushing for priming my model vehicles and figures. The figures are then painted in oils while the vehicles get airbrushed colors and clear coats.
I use them (my airbrushes) for different purposes because of tip size. I shoot acrylics, enamels, lacquer, inks, alcohol, etc.
I started with an Aztec, the one that came in the fancy box and all the tips. It worked OK for a year. It failed me. Got a Badger Anthem at Mic...ls with a 50% coupon, then a Badger Patriot, same deal. Good airbrushes. Then I started the Iwata collection (3). Had to have a Dagr. Rescued a Paasche VL at a thrift store, a mercy purchase, I was not leaving it at Value Village to get scattered on the floor. I use nitrogen as an air supply going through welding guages. It is silent (I live in a condo), clean and moisture free.
Looking forward to exploring this site to find out what the rest of the world airbrushes and how.
Cheers Eh!

More info. Victoria is about as far west in Canada as you can get and I have been here over 50 years, immigrated from Winnipeg. I am retired, worked as a cartographer for provincial government. My fifth floor condo has a great view of the Olympic Mtns, USA. Sometimes I have squirrels come up the trees to my balcony for peanuts. Other interests include photography, cooking and maintaining my 1990 Chevy Sport Truck.
Cheers Eh!
