Hello, all! My name is Mike, & I'm a 66 yr-old returnee to plastic scale modeling (haven't built a model in nearly 30 years!). My focus is WWII American military aircraft in 1/48 scale. I live in Henderson, just outside Las Vegas.

I have an airbrush set from Master Airbrush that includes a G22 7 a G25 gravity-feed unit, plus an E-91 siphon-type brush. In the past I only used siphon-type brushes (a Pasche & an old, reliable Binks Wren-B).

The paints I use are all acrylic, from ModelMaster and Tamiya,

Looking forward to relearning the process & picking up new tricks also the way.

welcome from Australia Mike, we have a few modellers here so if you need a hand just yell out. there's a lot here that have had a long break from something they enjoyed when they were younger, before kids, before responsible adulting happened.
once you're up and running again make sure you pop some pictures up,

Hey Mike, Welcome!!! From Pa. When I read "Wren" it struck an old memory. Used to use one starting to do laquer's on just about anything that moved. My thing was to let the tip build up and the spray would then be smaller...I then moved to a Thayer and then to my old Pasche
