Hello all !

My name is Ed, I'm from the Netherlands, Rotterdam. I am a bit of a jack of all trades (beside building some RC cars I made chainmail armors, build amplifiers and PC's, robots, Kydex and leather crafts to name a few more) as I was told years ago that specialization is for insects :D

I recently (like...5 days ago) bought a starter set for Airbrushing, as i always wanted to pick that up, as it's nice to combine/use with the other hobbies...

I did a bit of reading on a good starter set for my budget (+/- 250,=)

And after much considerations, I bought this set;

Compressor : Fengda AS-196A
AB : Harder & Steenbeck Ultra two-in-one (0.2 and 0.4 needle/nozzle included)

The (5) paint(s) that came with the set is the Schmincke Aero Color Professional line (primary White/Black/Yellow/Magenta/Cyan)

I already bought the leather base and coating from Schmincke (the only shop in the area didnt had all the stuff that's on my list, I know I can get it online, but I actually enjoy checking out real stores :/)
and any other handy stuff for a starter in airbrushing, so I also bought a cleaning pot with AB holder, demineralised water, cotton swabs, acidfree vaseline.

Must admit I only unpacked the set, as I have to build a workspace in a small area of the bedroom (no other space available unfortunatly :/) can't do it outside either, as it's winter and very cold 'n humid :/

And then I have to make sure there will be no odors or overspray ( had to promise the wife lol)
before I start, so I have to include some sort of paint booth with either active filter and/or a fan to get rid of fumes. I also need some more starter stuff (base and topcoat for metal and plastic, cleaning fluid, sanding paper etc.) so i'm getting there eventually :D

This post turned out longer then I planned, so, thanks for reading it, and i'm sure I will be learning alot
from all the posts.

I will update this with some pictures in the near future.

Welcome Home.
I have never heard of vaseline having acid in it . LMAO

I don't know if it's available over there, but here we DO have a yellow vaseline over here (it's cheaper, some of my fellow dutch goes long ways to save cash I guess lol) that does contain small amounts of acid.

It has a foldup table with foldable legs, it's made of 28mm solid wood.

Now going to give all stuff a place :)
