unknown airbrush

Air-Valve Autobot!
I stumbled over this airbrush when I was cleaning out my garage and I remember someone gave it to me way back in 2010 or something to test it if it was any good
I did test it and it is a 'rubbish' single action siphon feed airbrush that needs at least 6 bar to spray water and it has a real stiff needle spring in it what makes it real hard to control so I never bothered to put paint in it and I had put it aside to give it back but he never asked if it worked or not let alone asked it back so it was gathering dust in my garage ever since :)
it has no brand name on it so I cant tell what airbrush this is not that it matters as I will never use it

This resembles the older grafo alittle bit, maybe in the 80s? When grafo was making airbrushes for gabbert, i know around that time they didnt engrave anything on their brushes, well ive seen 2 grafos from the 80s with no writing on it. Maybe? I could be wrong

Sorry, I have several German brushes, including a few from Gabbert, and Grafo, and this looks nothing like the German craftsmanship incorporated into those brushes. I've been looking more and more into the lineage of the German brushes, and have not seen anything that I think resembles this one, yet.

all I can tell you it looks like a cheap build airbrush with a lot of plastic made components like the trigger , the needle guide and the back handle so I doubt if it is a German airbrush

I have been unable to find anything on this one - my absolute guess would be that it could be Eastern European in origin, and I suspect it is something that is more hobby, or novelty oriented vs. a serious attempt at an airbrush. I will continue to keep an eye out for anything that may look similar, on my journey...

you could be on to something here and hobby or novelty makes sense to me and all I know is that the guy who bought it said it wasnt a "cheap airbrush" but I guess he was comparing it to the cheap revell hobby airbrush :)
