Hi, I am Thomas from Heidelberg

I became interested in the airbrush hobby by watching my army comrades in 1989 painting miniature models of tanks. I bought a Badger single action Vario 200 whih I primarily used it to decorate some lab coats that I needed duging my studies of chemisty. Later on I got myself a Badger 150 to realize some easy beginners pictures and portraits of my girlfriend. When I, however, became too busiy with the studies later on and started my professional life, I forgot about the airbrush for 18 years.

In January 2018, I found a couple of fantastic airbrush-tutor tutorials on youtube which let me dusting my old airbrsh and trying to realize the underwater scene and the Heidelberg Bridge motif in my profil section.
I was deligthed to find this associated forum which appears to be a great source of hints, tutorials and discussion around my now revived hobby.

Apart from that I like whistling, playing the clarinet, ballroom dancing and melons.

At the moment I am working on a portrait of my brother playning the bagpipe and I would be happy to share it once it will be finished.

Thanks a lot
Thomas

Welcome from Australia

Many of us are here because of the airbrush tutor you- tube videos.

We don’t take ourselves to seriously (just like the airbrush tutor lol ) but we do take our airbrushing seriously :)

Willkommen, Bruda! Excited to see the portrait!!! Maybe some progress pics ;)
