Golden high flow tip dry

That's what I love about this forum...ya get frustrated and can't get something to go how you want...a little advise and some time and ya get the help ya need.. everyone so helpful to give those tips and tricks so we can all grow as artists and hobbyists. I'm feeling a group hug coming on lol

Now my only issue is control, I keep over working the test page, and it gets this spotted kind of look, hard to describe. Is their a term for what I'm talking about, or am I being too vague?

That is called modeling and it is due to getting your control down better so you get smooth even pass vs the hit and skip passes , You see it a lot in auto body painting with young painters . they are not keeping equal distance from the surface instead they more of an arch motion.

Ah, and yes, thinking of my movements, that does make a lot of sense. Once again, thank you! Is this more prone to happen with thinner paint, or pretty much all the time?

I think everybody here understands the feeling of getting a little disheartened or frustrated at times, but that’s what we’re all here for, to help each other with moments like that. Although it’s great to try things and figure problems out for ourselves, don’t wait too long before asking for help. Somebody here will always answer. Glad you’ve gotten to the bottom of your issue.

You will notice it more with the thinner paint being you're build lighter layers .

Yes, this really is a fantastic bunch of painters! Between Microns and your own advice I see things being far less frustrating when using these other paint brands. Thank you very much for you responses!
