Createx 4030+4012 goes wrong

J Tape fineline is nice to work with if you can get it locally. The other have you covered on the paint issue.

Just gonna leave this here. There was a lot of talk Createx restorer is a nasty stuff.

But restorer and 4030 have both California Proposition 65 - WARNING.

So I would noobishly assumed they are both crap for your body.
All createx products recommend a mask, and as soon as you smell restorer you know it potent stuff, but this is why I constantly nag that restorer should never be sprayed/vaporised in an area that it could be inhaled / absorbed. I haven’t checked the 4030, I have some but haven’t used it for a few years (so it’s probably gone ‘off’)

My 4030 has changed into a gel after 1 year.
unopened in a controlled environment. :depressed:
Now i use T.B as a carrier.
Mine too, I’ve had 2 unopened bottles go hard, so I’ve totally given up with it. I need to try Trans Base as a carrier the next time I use Candy2o

Joni, I paint mostly goalie masks and crash/skydiving helmets so I have to deal with a lot of uneven surfaces and painting a lot of curved lines. Honestly I used the cheap tape for a while mostly because I am cheap myself as well but then I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy some FBS gold tape and many different rolls of their fineline tape and it has made life 1,000x easier. The gold tape is thin, low tack and also semi transparent. Their fineline tapes are absolutely incredible. Each one has a different rigidity but I recommend using their green and blue tapes. Also far as using vinyl and a plotter, I only use that for If Im doing a team/school logo or something like that in order to be as accurate as possible. Lastly I'll tell you the same thing I've told other guys on here and the same thing they've told me as well, it may suck but some time it comes down to trial and error with the result being error pretty darn often. Keep it up bud and don't get discouraged along the way. I'd much rather have a ton of issues then ever even think about quitting.
