I like your videos to watch.
Do have some questions.
When I mix a color for my portraits.
Is the color good at 100% coverage.
But if I spray and make skin texture in it, I cannot spray with 100% opacity.
And I get a color shift.
To adjust this I use transparent colors.
But with that I also change the colors that are already
100% covered.
Am curious how you deal with that.

I use transparent paints a lot myself.
Color shifts from opaques are notorious going light to dark can help.
Being very careful of overspray will also minimize in that case.
When shifting colors with transparents it is important to go incredibly light.
It is also helpful to mix your base tone a hair lower value.
AND usually the mistake shifting is by not desaturating the transparent first.

I use my transparency very diluted but without mixing.
Most of the colors that I use are green, yellow ocher and violet.
I lay them over each other to the right color.
So if I keep my buffered colors lighter and mix the transparent colors in advance. I come closer to the original in theory.
(Perhaps the use of only buffered colors is even more accurate, but I don't like the appearance.)

Yes mixing opaque is technically more accurate. I find myself mixing both techniques and it’s entirely dependent on the effect and occasionally my mood. And if I’m needing to hurry up and get it done I’ll go all transparent mixing colors on the surface the whole way
