Disaster stroke me!! :)

That sucks Buddy! I feel for you. Only thing I can think of is that the vinyl left a small amount of adhesive. Did you clean after removing the vinyl and before spraying the candy?
I feel you my friend, I hope you can find a fix.

Thanks Si, you all have put me in serious doubts and no longer sure if I did clean...
I'll go start headbanging before I remember...:D

excrementty situation!:( . Maybe additives containing in that paint caused this to the tape?
How much time have you spent already? But what time... that sucks.

Those were the same additives I always use...
Maybe in total 10-12 hours... Siroxx asked me about cleaning and brought me seconds thoughts! I still can;t remember

It is possible that the underlying layer has affected the vinyl adhesive.
To get clear.
You applied the base layer and waited 8 hours before you applied the vinyl?
Was it maybe cold or damp so it wasn't completely dry before you stuck the vinyl?
Or it is just the vinyl that is not good.

( The problem was there before the candy layer, the candy only made it visible)

Vinyl which Dimitris uses has this info in technical data sheet:
Surfaces to which the material will be applied must be thoroughly cleaned and free from dust, grease or any other contamination that could affect the adhesion of the material. Freshly lacquered or painted surfaces should be allowed to dry for at least three weeks and to completely cure.

you're right there cause in the 1st pic it's right before the candy, and then..that
I hope it was the humidity which might effected it and as I was writing you this, I remembered saying my father that I had left a couple of A4 sheets 1m from the door of my little studio for two hours and they were wet. Everything else was done correct.

3 weeks? really?

To fix it. You can cover the face in a triangle. along the lines of the glue.
And sand the rest away. (dry P320 or finer)
Then place the stripes over the edge that you have sanded. to camouflage it.
To catch the difference between the old candy and the new layer you can make a cloud background or something like that.

Thanks for your help @erwin de pan , hope all goes well

I'm buying the 810, that's what I'm used to, just can't figure out why this happened... Have done this numerous times.

Checked the numbers... and all went as I guessed.
First of all about my friends who are ABing professionally for a long time . They don't like this 810 mask for the reason you need smooth surface to stick normally. When you have overspray on the surface, no luck. Who says that there's no overspray when ABing?:)
I've bought fro myself 810, 811, 813. After checking how they stick, I think I'm not going to by 810 again. It has so low tack, almost none. I like 811, but can't say if it's better than 813 or not, time will show. Or other people that used them both can tell you their preferences among these two:)
810 is for WB paints, 810S is for solvent based. I don't know what they pour there in your candy mix, as I've said earlier maybe something in there affected the glue layer, as you say you've used 810.
IDK, but you should try other paint mask. I wonder what you'll say then.

So I saved the jimi hendrix artwork and carry on from there with the same design.
Did the same procedure, sealer, basecoat, and the artwork.
This time was applied a gradient with purple, tequila yellow and orange candy2o and the purple did the same thing again. No problem with the rest.

Not a good photo but it's there, pissed me off and whipe the whole thing down. I'm really confused with this, is there a possibility that the purple has sustained any sort of damage or something?

I ain't gonna use that color on the guitar but I'll surtainly do a test panel to figure it out.
I also gonna try the new batch of vinyl with the old.
Candy's are expensive @huskystafford , how about a present? :D:Dlol
how much is a small bottle of candy? Went to check on goggle. It's 9 euros. Screw you Dimitris. :D One less Souvlaki in to your mouth and one more color in to your airbrush
