Eclipse hp-bcs questions..

Ok..paasche cup arrived yesterday and it fits like a glove, I hope to have some time today to try it out :) Thanks again everyone!
@Vladimir tapering the needle for more detailed work sounds interesting, I'm still far from that point, but..how did you do it?

Need to try those from Paasche... Mine chinese do not fit like a glove. Original Iwata's bottle does, but they do not make cups:(

I did that in a way that without some experience it's easy to spoil the needle. As the first step was grinding with the electric grinder using diamond wheel. I've done it because of the reason, I'd grind it manually all day long and would not get the result of a minute grinding using wheel.
But I'd had training on chinese knock offs 0.5mm needles before I did that with Iwata:)
Next steps were sanding on flat piece of glass changing sandpaper from 600 to 2500 grit after the wheel and after that - polishing with polishing compound.

But you've got a response, that you can change for 0.35mm setup easily and for not much cash;)

Here is a comparison side view of the CS, BCS, SBS. The SBS is a bit shorter. If I had to choose again, I would not have bought the CS.

Maybe this is the reason the BCS sprays so nicely.

I don't think so. In my experience, all siphon feed airbrushes worked more nicely compared to gravity ABs. I had HP-B+, HP-C+ but HP-SB+ works way better. I've sold those gravity models in new condition. Micron SB works better than gravity one.
I had HP-SBS but had to sell it as I had not enough cash for the micron then. I think, I need to by it again, it's good brush and convenient one.
My airbrushes are almost all of siphon system. Looks like siphon is my choice:)

The reason I went gravity is because I wanted to use less pressure. But that was with a Badger 150. When I got a Badger 105 it was not the case. I guess it is a design issue with Badgers. My BCS can easily work below 10psi while my CS and SBS can drop to about 5psi. Micron SBS can go to about 3psi.

i know this is a old post, wat tip do u have on your hp-cs? Also is that a replacement trigger witha bigger finger pad?
Nozzle is stock 0.35. The triggers are all stock. I just add a bit of Sugru or apoxy at the back where I operate the trigger from.
